We are currently hiring for the following position:

 

Network administrator

Full-time, Saskatoon-SK

Accelerated Technology was created 15 years ago and is an I.T. managed services provider located in Saskatoon. We support small businesses with their I.T. needs. We offer cloud services, on-site/off site-support, mobile device support, helpdesk management, hosting, back up & data recovery, telephony systems.

Who we need:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate who is eager to learn and can multi-task in an efficient manner. This position involves working directly with customers/end-users so you must like working with people. You will have to work from our office as well as provide support at customer sites when necessary.

Responsibilities:

·        Act as first line of support with customers through telephone and/or ticketing system

·        Configure/support networks

·        Escalate issues with various suppliers as needed (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 support)

·        Manage back-ups & patching

·        Configure/manage networks

·        Support Office 365 set-up

·        Manage tickets

·        Report time/hours in tracking tool

·        Manage/receive inventory

Qualifications:

·        2 years IT experience as a networking technician with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies

·        Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Standard and Small Business Server Editions; Active Directory; IIS and Exchange Server and Hyper-V

·        Experience configuring and troubleshooting network connectivity, including verification of routers and firewalls

·        Experience configuring and troubleshooting a of Antivirus, Antispam and Backup & data recovery systems.

·        Experience in VOIP telephony systems would be considered a plus

·        Experience with the following would be considered a plus: Linux, N-Central, Connectwise, 3CX

·        English language (oral and written)

·        Use of a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
